Artifact 8: Editing Challenges

I selected this image because I wanted to make an example of a meme that people sometimes make on the internet these days. The meme consists of putting a random quote over an emotional photo.
To create this photo, I inserted the photo on the PowerPoint slide and used one of the edits to make it take up the entire space of the slide. I added the text with the text box feature and edited the font style. size and color. Then I used Shape Effects to add an outer shadow to the text. Under the Shadow options, I dragged the bar for Transparency to 100% to make the shadow thicker. After this, I grouped the photo and text together and saved it as an image. I edited the text like this because I noticed that it was a bit difficult to read with the background so I added the shadow to make it more legible.

I inserted 2 copies of the photo on the PowerPoint slide and placed them side by side. I selected this image because I liked the vintage look it has and wanted to enhance it to increase the Vintage-like vibes I was getting from the photo.
To create the after image, I adjusted the Color Saturation by recoloring it with the Orange, Accent Color 2 Dark filter. I tried the other recolor filters too but I liked this one the most because it makes it look like an old photograph that has browned and darkened with time.
