I selected these images because I thought of a nautical theme and wanted to incorporate different elements into one image. I used Pixlr X to create a montage as it is a software I have never used, so I wanted to learn something new.
I edited this photo by resizing the images to fit the canvas. I then adjusted the opacity of the octopus and seaweed image so that the underwater image would be visible in the background. I also used the Multiply blend mode on the underwater and seaweed layers. Something I learned during this process was how to use the Pixlr X software and how similar it is to other editing software I use (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, etc)
